Centenary Stage Company

Operating since 1985, the Centenary Stage Company is a critically acclaimed not-for-profit, year-round performing arts organization, serving over 24,000 patrons a year, with multidisciplinary programming in professional music, theatre and dance events. Our new, $30-million-dollar facility, the Lackland Performing Arts Center, helps to make Centenary Stage Company a cultural destination in our region, with a culinary mecca of excellent dining within walking distance of every one of our over 220 performances a year.

CSC is a professional Equity regional theatre on the campus of Centenary University in the historic town of Hackettstown. Positioned on the historic Morris Canal and just five miles from the 19th-century chalybeate spring and health resorts of Schooleys Mountain, the Centernary Stage Company continues to welcome visitors to our region with patrons who hail from every county in the state as well as Pennsylvania and New York.

Accessibility Notes

The Lackland Performing Arts Center was built up to specifications designated by the Americans with Disabilities Act, and as such is an extremely accessible location. Centenary Stage Company, on top of offering fully accessible seating for those that require it, also offers assisted listening devices and large print programs upon request.

Great ambiance, brilliant productions. Keep an eye out for anything with Stephen Davis's name on it - his work exudes passion and transmits genuine emotion that can only be experienced in this setting.
