Hancock House Hotel

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the “New” Hancock House Hotel.

The original HHH was built in 1848 on Main Street, next to where the Tops Market is now located. It was a popular stagecoach and train stop, giving hostel to a variety of travelers for over a hundred years, until it was razed in 1960.

In 2007, after much planning and many sleepless nights, we decided to build a hotel that would be much like the original in appearance. It was our hope that the hotel would be a comfortable lodging for travelers visiting family or friends, conducting business, vacationing, fishing, hunting or just passing through. We also wanted to provide great food and drink, and a welcoming place for local gatherings, weddings and parties of all kinds. Our Maple Room Restaurant and Honest Eddie's Tap Room serve a wide variety of foods to satisfy any diet.

Hancock is where the East Branch and West Branch of the Delaware meet and is the Gateway to the Upper Delaware with great fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and tubing opportunities.

Many destination weddings have been held in our beautiful neck of the Catskill Mountains too.

We hope you will enjoy your stay with us and the beauty of God’s creation that surrounds us.
