Eco-Friendly Notes

Renovated in 2013, the vintage style of the house is eco-friendly in that most furnishings are re-purposed. The home is newly insulated, and stays warm and cozy during cooler months. Low-flow toilet. Free recycling available for all plastic, glass, metal, paper, and cardboard. Linens are laundered with scent-free, biodegradable soap.

Locally or Family-Owned Business Notes

Home owner Tina Spangler lives right next door with her family and is available as needed, but will not be intrusive during your stay. I personally renovated and decorated the cabin from items I've been collecting my whole life, including the claw foot bathtub from my childhood lake house in the Midwest, a mid-century dish set I bought 20 years ago when living in Boston, and a handmade quilt I re-stuffed and mended on the master bed.

Accessibility Notes

The cabin is all one one floor (no interior stairs), however there are two steps on the front porch.

Pet Friendly Notes

Sorry, no pets.
