Dark Skies Astronomy Mohican Getaway

Join Douglas Arion, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Carthage College and President of Galileoscope for a weekend of studying the stars.

The agenda for this weekend will be flexible and weather dependent. If it looks clear there will be a variety of telescopes for viewing the night sky. If it ends up being cloudy, there will be different presentations and workshops arranged.

During the day optional hikes will be offered on trails around and near Mohican. Or simply relax around camp, go paddling or swim in Catfish Pond.
