Dingmans Falls Visitor Center - Bushkill, PA

The area near Dingmans Falls has operated as a tourist attraction for centuries and with good reason. The shaded hemlock and rhododendron forest provides a welcome setting for visitors to enjoy the cooling rush of the waterfalls from nearby vantage points.

Ranger programs teach visitors here about the ecological, geological, and historical wonders of this area. Rangers also provide general information about Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area at the visitor center. The gift shop inside the visitor center is a nice place to pick up a memorable souvenir for the trip home.

Park information, exhibits, bookstore, NPS passport cancellation, America the Beautiful and Park passes, restrooms, drinking water, accessible Dingmans Creek Trail to Dingmans and Silverthread waterfalls, waterfall talks.

Pet Friendly Notes

Pets are not permitted in the Dingmans Falls Visitor Center or on the Dingmans Falls Boardwalk (with exceptions for service animals). This regulation is strictly enforced.


Why doesn't someone announce on this site that Dingmans Falls is closed this year due to the flooding in March!

Is there anyplace in the vicinity to camp overnight? We have an off-road vehicle with rooftop tent.
