Hardball Cider was inspired by a life-long love for the game of baseball and an upbringing on a family-owned and operated farm which includes orchards and a cidery. The Founder and CEO of Hardball Cider was a baseball player for most of his life and always wanted to find his way back to the diamond. Taking over the cidery was a natural way to build upon the groundwork of the previous generation and expand production into hard ciders and wines.
For over 75 years and spanning five generations, we've worked to perfect our apple cider. We make our hard ciders from a blend of our own apples and supplement as needed with other locally sourced apples from long-established, trusted orchards. It takes five to seven apples to make one 12-ounce bottle of our hard cider. We never use apple concentrate or artificial colors and flavors, and our hard ciders are naturally gluten-free. With the perfect blend of apples and a love of baseball, Hardball Cider was launched in the summer of 2013 and continues to grow today.
