Kittatinny is an award-winning, family owned and operated for 75+ years of outdoor fun and excitement for most ages and abilities. Kittatinny operates on the scenic Delaware River, running through two National Park Service areas. All seven of our bases are strategically located to ensure the most diverse trips for you. No experience is necessary for our white water rafting! We offer canoeing and kayaking in white or calm water and lazy river tubing trips.

In addition to our river trips Kittatinny Adventure Center boasts a thrilling dual racing zipline which is the largest along the Delaware. Ziplines: Drop 36 stories from the top of our own private mountain on one of the largest zip lines in the United States! Zip through and above the treetops, 150 feet in the air while taking in the magnificent bird’s eye view of the Delaware River. Depending on participant’s weight, speeds of 40-60 mph are reached. Paintball: We also offer Kittatinny paintball on mountaintop playing fields that overlook the beautiful Delaware River. We’ll provide you with everything you need and take you to the top of the mountain in a military troop transport truck. Your team can use our strategically placed bunkers for its defensive strategy or take advantage of Kittatinny’s unique natural cover while maneuvering for an attack. River sports: Enjoy kayaking on the calm pools of the Delaware, or rafting through its whitewater rapids. The Delaware River provides plenty of crystal clear water and rapids all season long. Whitewater rafting with Kittatinny is the highlight of any family vacation. Enjoy the whitewater all season long, regular dam releases from five different reservoirs maintain the river flow. Rafting on the Delaware River is perfect for novices and families; no experience is necessary. It’s cool wet fun for those hot summer days. Other fun water activities include canoeing and tubing.

The Delaware River has varying levels of white water that experienced paddlers can challenge all summer long and quiet calm water trips for novices, families and those who don’t want the excitement of the whitewater.

You have a choice of two different tubing trips offered daily. You can either meet at our River Beach campsites location in Pennsylvania or our Kittatinny Campground in New York. Whichever trip you choose, Kittatinny will transport you upriver to a launch site that will give you a 3-mile float trip that generally lasts between two to three hours depending on river conditions.
