Kittatinny Point Visitor Center

The Kittatinny Point Visitor Center is a one-stop shop for visitors interested in learning more about the park. The Center provides guests ample opportunities to learn more about the park, view local exhibits, visit the bookstore, cancel a NPS passport if needed, or purchase a park pass. Other amenities including restrooms, drinking water, and views are available.

Recreational access from the Kittatinny Point Visitor Center include views of the Delaware Water Gap, entry points for the Appalachian National Scenic Trail as well as other nearby trails, and launches for both canoes and boats.

Accessibility Notes

If you are parking in the Boat Launch area, please see the rangers in the visitors center for a temporary parking permit. If you are parking for an overnight trip on the Appalachian Trail, sign in with the rangers.

Pet Friendly Notes

Pets are not permitted at the Kittatinny Point picnic areas. Service dogs are excluded from this. Pets are permitted on most of the hiking trails in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
