The Musconetcong Watershed Association's (MWA) River Resource Center is located on the lower half of the Musconetcong River in the historic district of Asbury (Warren County), New Jersey.
The Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am-4:30 pm and is a meeting spot for a trail hike along the "MWA Education Trail" that offers facts on the natural sites, including plants and wildlife, hikers may encouter while on the trail. The Center also offers information and brochures on other activities and places to visit within the Musconetcong River watershed.
The Musconetcong River is known for its trout fishing, and has recently reported migrating American shad returning to the lower section of the river where the Musky meets the Delaware River. There are also paddling spots and state parks to hike all located within the Musconetcong River watershed.
