The Appalachian Trail Experience

The iconic Appalachian Trail runs through the Scenic Wild Delaware River region. This trip plan will focus on the three towns within the region that are designated by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy as Appalachian Trail Communities (ATCs). Appalachian Trail Communities are committed to the preservation, protection and promotion of the Appalachian Trail and surrounding natural resources. Appalachian Trail Communities are also committed to providing visitors with an authentic opportunity to experience local eateries, culture, festivals, and history.
