Victorian Days in Historic - Belvidere, NJ

The Victorian Days in Historic Belvidere, NJ was started in 1977 and has been held annually since. It is the weekend following Labor Day each year in September. There are numerous events held during the two day event including, but not limited to, historic house tours, porch and garden teas, historic cemetery tours, antique/vintage car show, over 110 antique and handmade item vendors, food court, horse drawn carriage rides, old fashioned baseball game, and more. Many people participate by dressing in Victorian fashion. Funds raised from the two day event are used for beautification purposes for the town, which lies on the Delaware River, and to be given to high school students that volunteer for the festival as scholarship money for college.

There are numerous businesses in town that offer great deals during this weekend, including antique shops, eateries, and others.

This is a premium event, well organized and well run. OK, I'll admit it, I'm on the committee, so I might be prejudiced, but I still think it's well organized and well run.
